Cruiser is a cover band that celebrates the best music of the 50s and 60s. We focus more on the edgy / greasy side of things and leave the cheese behind. We play high energy popular hits that are well loved, easy to dance to and we provide a full night of entertainment that always leaves the audiences wanting more.

In late 2009, Mark White was approached by Vancouver's Steel Productions and asked if he could find or assemble a great band, to host a series of 'open mic / jam' nights, at a North Vancouver pub.

Knowing that an open mic band and it's members need to be as musically diverse and versatile as possible, Mark brought John Tate and Andrew Newton on-board, to complete the group. One or two rehearsals later ... an assembly of 55 or 60 songs ... and a realization that their collective years of touring and live performance afforded them the luxury of being able to play almost any song, at a professional level, right off the cuff.

The end result is a band that more than aptly covers a huge variety of musical ground from the best Classic Rock of the last 50 years right up to and including the hottest New Country hitting the airwaves today. Seasoned, dynamic musicianship coupled with vocal harmonies that would make The Eagles proud is exactly what J.A.M. delivers.
